Hey Nathan,

This is the first time I’m setting up postfix on my Mac and I’ve been trying to wrap my head around this issue for over a week now…

I’m not quite there just yet (these things happen when you listen to the Internet) but your article got me real close, I can feel it!

Since there were no comments on this useful post, I thought I’d be the first to thank you : )

Hi,
I’ve experienced the same problem. Exporting a photo from iPhoto (scaling to ‘large’) then uploading this manually to picasa, the result looks right:

Using the iPhoto picasa uploader and choosing ‘better quality’ the result looks like this:

Hey I just wanted to let you know, I really like the composition on your website. But I am employing Flock on a machine running version 9.04 of Crashbang Ubuntu and the UI aren’t quite right. Not a strong deal, I can still fundamentally read the articles and explore for info, but just wanted to inform you about that. The navigation bar is kind of challenging to apply with the config I’m running. Keep up the superb work!

Ugh. Thanks for the heads up. Now that I look at my photos again, I think Picasa for Windows is doing the same (though perhaps to a less severe degree).

There are no artefacts but the largest size is 604px which is really small on modern monitors.

And, I’ve just realised that the newer version of iPhoto comes with a built in flickr uploader. This would allow me to retain the convenience I have at the moment.

yum, indeed! I think the most enlightening part of the tour was discovering that every Savignon Blanc we tasted was really quite different, and while I would describe myself as a Sav. Blanc fan, I actually didn’t like about 50% of those we tasted.
