Decisions after Review Meeting
- Karen will use the data from the OS map CD to generate the terrain for e.g. Pennine Canal for demonstration purposes. Different cost rates for different types of constructions will be used. Compare the physical canal route and the route calculated by Charlie.
- Nathan had expressed interest in presenting the project. The group will come together to discuss the content and delivery of the presentation, and Nathan was nominated as the spokeperson. Phebe can produce the transparencies for presentation from Powerpoint in colour.
Subsequent to the meeting
- Andy managed to get the JRE running in the c:\Temp directory of an NT machine in Cockcroft 4. He will still store Charlie on a CD for convenience when the code is frozen.
- Nathan reminds that we need to fix a date/time when someone can jar everything, write shell scripts/.lnk files, turn off CVS updating, ensure JavaDoc is completely up to date. [Suggested Sunday evening after the power comes back, need to be discussed at next meeting?]
Next meeting: Saturday 4/3/2000 at 11am at Cockcroft 4
